The kit includes:

• Hydraulic slave cylinder with release bearing.
• Pressure rocker arm.
• Pushrod extension.
• Plug for the automatic shift rod (Dnepr gearbox only).

Purchased separately

• Braided hydraulic hose (approx. 1.2 m long).
• Brake fluid.
• Handlebar clutch master cylinder.

Choosing the master cylinder and piston diameter

• Classic Ural/Dnepr clutch (slave piston travel ~3.3 mm):
  • An 11 mm master cylinder is recommended: the clutch can literally be pulled with one finger.
  • In tests with a 12.7 mm (1/2") master cylinder the pull is fairly stiff, but acceptable for a strong hand.
• Diaphragm-spring clutch (automotive type, slave piston travel ~5 mm):
  • Use a master cylinder with a 12.7 mm (1/2") or 14 mm piston.

Installation instructions

1. Remove the old parts: the clutch release lever, slider, bearing, mushroom pushrod, cable and the handlebar clutch lever.
2. Dnepr gearbox: remove the plate and the automatic shift rod. Install the metal plug from the kit and secure it with the stock plate.
3. Preparation: thoroughly clean the cylinder seat in the gearbox housing so that no dirt gets under the new cylinder body.
4. Pushrod: insert the pushrod extension into the slave cylinder bearing.
5. Cylinder: insert the cylinder into the gearbox housing. It is sealed with two rubber O-rings.
   • Important: you may need to bend the rubber driveshaft damper coupling slightly with a pry bar during installation.
6. Positioning: rotate the cylinder in its seat so that its body does not touch the damper coupling.
7. Securing: install the pressure rocker arm from the kit and tighten it firmly with the locking bolt.
8. Hydraulic line: connect the braided hose, route it to the handlebar, connect it to the master cylinder and bleed the system with brake fluid.

P.S. We recommend a KTM-type clutch master cylinder with an 11 mm piston and an M10x1.25 mirror mount.
